William A. Gabbert Jr., 81, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 3, 2019. He was born on October 6, 1937 in Indianapolis to William Gabbert and Esther Lucas. He graduated from Arsenal Tech High School. He retired from Chase Bank in the mid 90’s.

He is survived by his husband Thomas F. Moit of Indianapolis.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Ruth Whitlow; and former partner Joseph Montani.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Downey Avenue Christian Church, 111 South Downey Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219, in the courtyard.
